RD Academy was founded in 2011 by Dan O'Brien, head baseball coach at Santa Clara University. RD Academy provides high school showcases, youth camps, clinics, lessons, and group trainings, and travel teams at Santa Clara University throughout the school year and summer. RD Academy places a strong emphasis on individual attention for each camper, so we provide one coach for every 8 campers. We separate players by age and skill levels so all players develop to their fullest potential and get the most out of camp. RD Academy camps are held at Stephen Schott Stadium, located east of the majority of Santa Clara's athletic facilities, at the intersection of El Camino Real and Campbell Avenue across from Santa Clara's Leavey Center.
