The Riverside City College Wind Ensemble, conducted by Kevin Mayse, is recognized as one of the premier wind bands in the Community College system, featuring exceptional young wind and percussion musicians from several Southern California counties. In addition to regular performances on campus, the ensemble has showcased its talent at prestigious events such as the College Band Directors National Association regional conference and the California Music Educators state convention. Beyond its concert performances, the Wind Ensemble also organizes a two-day concert band festival for middle and high school bands and hosts an annual conducting symposium featuring esteemed guest clinicians from notable universities.
