History

I first started working with and training dogs for the United States Army in 2006 at Fort Carson CO. My last duty station was at Camp Zama, Japan; where I trained and deployed with my Military Working Dog. After I was Honorably discharged in March of 2013 I continued training dogs while working at a Pet Care facility in the Bay Area. In May of 2015 I moved back to Atascadero and started training dogs in the local area. In November of the same year I opened Puppy Pals Animal Services.

Specialties

Puppy pals specializes in puppy behavior shaping through positive rewards and bad behavior redirection. It is important to us that we do not use fear and intimidation to train your dog, Our intention is to train your pup having them WANT to do what you ask rather than HAVE to do the task at hand. The end result it a happier dog given clear signals of what is and is not appropriate behavior. we do not use choke corrections, Pinch collars or electric collars. We are currently servicing Atascadero, Paso Robles, and Templeton on a regular basis. We will travel anywhere in the SLO county area for a small additional fee.
