The Human Resources Council, also known as HRC, is a private, nonprofit human service agency that serves the communities of California. Founded in 1981, the council provides community-based programs and education to families, children and individuals. It operates through various divisions, such as child care resources, crisis center and food bank. The Human Resources Council provides emergency food baskets, rental and energy assistance, home owner assistance and legal services. The council offers counseling to the victims of sexual assaults and domestic violence, provides temporary restraining order assistance and organizes support groups. Additionally, it sponsors the Santa's Express Thanksgiving and Christmas basket drive. The Human Resources Council is located in San Andreas, Calif.
