Established in 1960, Peacock Gap & Country Club is a recreational facility that offers a range of entertainment, sports and social interaction opportunities for children, youths and adults. It is spread over an area of more than 6,000 yards and features an 18-hole golf course, putting greens, tees, bunkers, fairways and driving ranges. Peacock Gap & Country Club conducts individual and group golf lessons, as well as maintains a practice and instructional facility. It hosts various leagues, tournaments and golf clinics. The facility has a banquet facility that can accommodate more than 250 individuals, as well as offers catering services for various special events, such as corporate lunches, silent auctions, wedding ceremonies, reception parties, rehearsal dinners and private events. Peacock Gap & Country Club is located in San Rafael, Calif.

WONDERFUL golf course! Range balls were terrible quality and pace of play was 5+ hours. Pretty standard stuff. I'd take this course over Presidio any day.

We played on a Sunday and the pace of golf was incredibly slow - we got through 10 holes in 3 hours. There was no Marshall to "encourage" proper pace of play and no amenities cart to keep everyone...
