Peaceful Valley Farm

History

Peaceful Valley Farm started as a dream to live like Laura in Little House on the Prairie. As a child, I loved those books and I guess I just never got over the idea. The time was right when we found a run down property in 2009 and moved in, setting up Farm Camps, workshops, and after school programs.

Specialties

We are an educational farm, offering Summer Farm Camps for ages 3-7. These camps focus on our connection to the Earth, where food comes from, animal care and appreciation for nature. We also read a lot of farm themed books, make art, climb trees and enjoy a good old fashioned time on the farm. Seasonally, we offer fertile eggs for hatching (and eating), baby chicks, laying hens, and heirloom vegetable plants. The rest of the year we have enrichment classes for kids that focus on
