Sonia Troxell, PA-C, completed the physician assistant/family nurse practitioner program at University of California, Davis and earned her undergraduate degree at California State University, Chico. She has more than six years of experience as a certified physician assistant specializing in cardiology and urgent care medicine. She also practices as a physician assistant as a member of the Air Force Reserves.

Steven Goldberg, MD, is a cardiologist, specializing in structural heart interventions. He is a graduate of University of Kansas School of Medicine, with residencies and fellowships at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UC Irvine. Dr. Goldberg is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He joined Montage Medical Group to launch the structural heart program at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, with interventions including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), in which valves are replaced without open-heart surgery.

Steven J. Fowler, MD, joined Montage Medical Group from New York University Langone Medical Center, where he served as director of the Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic and was part of the Cardiovascular Genetics Program since its inception. He specializes in treatment of irregular heartbeat, or arrhythmia. Dr. Fowler completed a residency in internal medicine at Scripps in San Diego Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego. He did a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at UC Irvine, and was chief fellow in clinical cardiovascular electrophysiology at NYU. Dr. Fowler is board-certified in clinical cardiovascular electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease and serves as the medical director of Community HospitalAEs electrophysiology laboratory.
