North Valley Association, LLC

North Valley Occupational Center-Aviation Center is a full-time regional employment preparation center and is located in Mission Hills, Calif. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is operated by the Los Angeles Unified School District's Division of Adult and Career Education. The center provides short-term vocational, technical and health training. Its career assessment unit offers services, such as counseling, career strategies, job search techniques, interviewing and resume writing. It also provides diploma classes and assists in job placements. Additionally, the center offers support services to assist the hearing impaired, visually impaired and learning and orthopedically disabled people. Its special support services include tutoring, sign language interpreting, guidance and notetaking. The center also operates an aviation unit that provides training of adult and high school students for jobs in the aviation aerospace industry.
