HistoryBacklot Events started up in May 2008 in Arcadia, CA with the simple idea of being able to throw parties for friends and families. This concept evolved after we began to plan events for school organizations and larger private parties. We then established Backlot Events, founded officially in February of 2010. Backlot Events is made up of three brands, Backlot Events (the main brand), Backlot Entertainment (our college oriented brand) and Beats Per Minute (our DJ and Recording Label). Within just 6 months, we have become California's Fastest Growing Party and Event Planning Company.
