Monterey Peninsula Surgery Centers

Established in 1982, the Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center is an outpatient surgical facility that is in Monterey, Calif. It is owned by more than 40 local community physicians and the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The center offers a range of outpatient surgery procedures related to various medical specialty areas, including gastroenterology, gynecology and women s health, ophthalmology, orthopedics and sports medicine and podiatry. The Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center employs physicians who specialize in the microscopic surgery of spinal discs and surrounding tissues and insertions of spinal stimulators. It is licensed by the State Department of Health Services, certified by Medicare and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
