Campground doesn't have running tap water . Toilet is vault toilet . Doesn't have sink in the toilet . The campground is full of mosquitoes . We were bitten all over . The only reason I gave 2...

Right on the American River, well kept, clean toilets, great rangers, I was solo, and felt safe.

As much as I loved jumping in and cooling off in the pristine American River right next to our campsite, I would not camp here again on a big holiday weekend, or summer weekends for that matter....
