Golden State Water Company is a subsidiary of American States Water Company, and a public utility company engaged principally in the purchase, production, distribution and sale of water. Along with American States Utility Services, the company provides water services to the more than 250,000 residents in California, living within over 75 communities throughout 10 counties in Northern, coastal and Southern California. It also serves more than 12,500 customers in the city of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and a small portion of Scottsdale, Ariz. The company also distributes electricity to more than 22,000 customers in the Big Bear recreational area of Southern California. Golden State Water Company is located in San Dimas, Calif.
