History

After tiring of working in the impersonal environment of high tech medical electronics I began a year long massage certification program in Seattle, Washington in 1991. This training combined with my medical engineering background allowed me to quickly grasp the dynamics of the neuro-musculo-skeletal system and how seemingly unconnected parts interact to create pain and dysfunction. All the training I've received over the years has helped me develop my natural ability to feel and respond precisely to a particular body's needs using highly effective techniques with a customized approach. Responding to an offer to develop and teach a portion of the advanced curriculum at Health Works Institute, I moved to Bozeman, Montana in 2000. Teaching there for five years helped me to further refine and develop the methods and approaches that I use today. I visited Lake Tahoe in 2005 and moved here in 2006. I find Lake Tahoe not only beautiful but also a special place of healing and rejuvenation.

Specialties

My sessions focus on treating and preventing chronic and recurring pain conditions resulting from injuries, stress, and postural patterns. With 18 years of experience, over a thousand hours of training, and 5 years of teaching experience I've developed techniques with a proven track record of effectiveness. My work is both deep and relaxing. I have two treatment spaces. One is on the California / Nevada state line in Crystal Bay on the north shore of Lake Tahoe and the other is on the west shore in Tahoe City.
