Lawrence Elementary School

Established in 1957, John R. Williams School serves the educational needs of more than 500 students, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through eight. It is a Title 1 school, and offers instructions in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, computer science, social studies, arts and crafts, vocal and instrumental music and physical education. The school offers a variety of sports programs and extracurricular activities for students. It has a parent-teacher association that caters to the needs of students, and organizes and participates in various school events. Located in Stockton, Calif., John R. Williams School operates under the guidelines set by the Lincoln Unified School District.

Stagg High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its consumer and family studies department provides courses in homemaking, textiles, child development, and food and nutrition. The business courses offered by the school include accounting, marketing, business management and consumer education. Its industrial technology courses include transportation, energy utilization, drafting, metal production and building trades. Stagg High School provides various fine arts classes that include painting, ceramics, dramatic arts and music theory. It also offers musical education in choir, band, orchestra, guitar and concert. Additionally, the school provides classes in foreign languages, math, physical education, science and social studies. Stagg High School is owned and operated by Stockton Unified School District and is located in Stockton, Calif.
