We are Lakeside Presbyterian Church, an inclusive community of faith in San Francisco, California. We strive to live and tell the good news of Jesus Christ. Through God's blessings, we seek to provide an inviting, supportive, and challenging atmosphere for worship, education, fellowship, and service. All are welcome to join us on our journey. As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we belong to a denomination of 2.6 million members with historical roots in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. Presbyterian comes from the Greek presbuteros, elder, reflecting our belief in a representative form of church government under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Lakeside was founded in 1942, and is a member of the Presbytery of San Francisco.

This place is warm and caring. I take an elderly friend here when transportation is an issue. I have to say I have never felt more valued as a human being in any other house of worship.
