Family medicine allows me to connect with patients in such a genuine and unique way. I aim to prioritize mental health as well as physical well-being, bridging the mind-body connection. During my family medicine residency training, I subspecialized in LGBTQ medicine. Our LGBTQIA+ community is underserved in health care. I always want to serve and support this population along with the general community, regardless of age, race, cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. As a family medicine physician, I want my clinic to be a safe space, a place where patients can be themselves without fear of judgment. I am excited for our journey ahead and vow to be every patient’s teammate in the journey of healing.
