History

I graduated from Animal Behavior in 2009 where I earned my certification as an ABC certified Dog Trainer. My year long commitment to this program provided me with a formal education in Canine obedience training methods and an understanding of behaviors and it's motives... I have been training dogs in public and private settings for nearly 20 years... I was also certified and worked part time as Lead Dog Trainer Instructor and Dog Trainer Mentor at Petco for 6 years in addition to private in-home training. My certifications, formal education and real life experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely give you the tools to train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your companion so special to you.

Specialties

I specialize in Basic Obedience(potty training, sit, down, stay recall, leash walking) and Problem Solving which( includes but not limited to excessive barking, separation anxiety, digging, chewing, puppy mouthing, socialization). All done through positive reinforcement training methods...I also do preparation and testing as a Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
