History

Indy Place is the home of the Eastern Sierra Ice Cream Company. We opened in the interesting year of 2020 on Independence Day. As a family owned and operated independent restaurant, it's been fun and challenging. Our emphasis is on quality, freshness, creativity and friendliness. We're located in the small town of Independence in the Owens Valley. When you visit our shop, you'll rest between the Sierra Nevada and Inyo mountain ranges. Our grounds and deck seating give you the opportunity to soak in the great Eastern Sierra outdoors while enjoying our ice cream creations.

Specialties

We make fresh delicious ice cream and non-dairy frozen dessert right here on site in Independence CA. All of our flavors are hand-made, small-batch and include fresh natural ingredients. Our flavors rotate regularly, with new exciting varieties along with favorites filling our 'Scooping Now' board every week.
