History

Amy Hunter Piano School was formally established in 2012 when Amy moved to San Jose, CA. In March 2015, Amy Hunter Piano School expanded and became The Hunter School of Music at its new location, 1040 Park Ave, Suite 100, San Jose, CA 95126. In addition to Amy teaching piano, the music school includes a piano, theory, and composition instructor, Brian Ciach, piano instructors Philip Jung, Sofija Nedic, and Celine You, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele instructor, Todd Kimball and Austin Nickel. We offer private lessons in piano, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, theory, and composition.

Specialties

The Hunter School of Music teaches piano, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, theory, improvisation, and composition lessons for all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Lessons cater to your individual musical interests while teaching you the important fundamental skills/concepts and proper technique. Lessons will help you learn the language of music and feel comfortable playing various pieces on the piano. We also offer many fun additional opportunities such as free group classes for enrolled students, and field trips to local concerts and events.
