History

As soon as Mr. Kim was admitted to the State Bar, he was invited by two senior attorneys in Oakland, to be a named partner of a LLP. Since then, Mr. Kim left the partnership and established the Hee J. Kim Law Firm, PC. Half of our practice is dedicated to personal injury, from minor injuries to wrongful death cases. Mr. Kim has directly prosecuted or supervised the successful obtainment of millions in judgments and settlements. Mr. Kim has also assisted in the defense of many cases, typically involving serious injuries or death, against private individuals, corporations, and public entities. Our office helps children with special needs obtain the services they need in public schools throughout the Bay Area. Our services are limited to requests for a due process hearing. Mr. Kim assists small business owners and individuals with various contractual disputes. Typically, these types of cases also include some sort of fraud by the other party.

Business/contract disputes - we assist small business owners with various disputes over contracts or other business matters, such as, partnership disputes, breach of distribution agreements, fraudulent conduct in business relations, breach of purchase agreements, breach of commercial leases, etc.
