History

I started out seeing clients that were looking for quality nutrition information. As this information changed...so did I. Expanded my practice to the nutrition management of eating disorders especially stabilization after residential treatment. Became an eating disorder specialist and Intuitive Eating counselor. My office is in a holistic environment and I practice with other like thinking practitioners including acupuncture and a variety of therapists. Getting my certification as a Health and Life Coach completed my journey. I have had my share of nutritional issues over the years and hope I can impart my compassion and support to you and yours. We work together as a partners in your journey to health. Moved to the Seal Beach location in 2016!

Healing Nutrition Therapy is a nutrition counseling practice that focuses on a non-diet approach to lifestyle and behavior change for a broad range of health issues. Compassion and support are key. Registered Dietitian, Ellyn Silverman-Linnetz also specializes in eating disorders and substance recovery nutrition and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist RD. She practices with an Intuitive Eating philosophy and is a HAES (Healthy at Every Size) practitioner. Ellyn is also a Health and Lifestyle coach so she has the expertise to help you incorporate your goals into your life and journey. Some of the areas of practice include: -eating disorder nutrition stabilization and management -PCOS and other women related issues -non diet health related management (diabetes, heart disease, COPD, GI disease and food allergies, etc) -substance abuse nutrition recovery -lifestyle coaching Available for individual and group sessions, Skype/virtual visits Ages 13-infinity All genders welcome!
