History

For over 35 years, Harmony Audio Video has been fulfilling the needs of music lovers from all over the Bay Area. Initially known as Harmony Stereo, the original store owner hired Frank Mari as a service technician during its first year of operation. Over the next few years, as Frank moved from the service shop to the sales floor, the store brought in video products and changed its named to the current Harmony Audio Video. Taking over the role of manager, Frank continued to build the business throughout the 80's and into the 90's. Since buying out his last partner in 1998, Frank has been the sole owner and operator of one of San Francisco's few remaining independent hi-fi shops. Staffed by an experienced and knowledgeable crew, the store prides itself on delivering quality service to discriminating customers who long for the small store experience of yesteryear.
