Hanshaw Middle School

Elliott Alternative Education Center offers a variety of programs that help students obtain their high school diplomas and general educational development certificates. The center operates through various academic departments, such as English, social studies, math, science, language arts and special education. The center also offers adult basic education classes in computer literacy, algebra, geometry, world history, reading, writing, fine arts and physical science. It has a library that offers a collection of books on various subjects, including arts and humanities, business, health, law and government, leisure and computers. Elliott Alternative Education Center is operated by Modesto City Schools and is located in Modesto, Calif.
