A Little Bit about our History... Care Plus Nursing Services was founded in 2004, by the current owners and management, one of whom had worked in the industry for several years. Having experienced caring for an aging loved one themselves, they began to envision a home care company based on the principles of loving, compassionate and professional care. As word spread throughout the community about Care Plus, the company grew, but still has maintained their focus on providing personalized, compassionate and client centered care. Care Plus specializes in both elder care and Alzheimer care, and has provided home care services to individuals following an illness, stroke, hip replacement or a hospital stay. We entrust only the most qualified, dependable, dedicated & trustworthy employees of positive attitude to serve our clients & help them live safely at home where they feel safe, independent & happy. We are members of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA). As such, we are an "Agency", not a "Registry". Care Plus must also adhere to the membership requirements of the NPDA in providing quality care. All of this means that our caregivers and nurses are our employees, not independent contractors. Therefore, we not only take care of payroll taxes and income tax withholding for our employees, but we also cover each of them with Workers' Compensation Insurance, Professional Liability Insurance, General Liability Insurance, and Non-owned Auto Insurance for those who drive their own or a client's car during their work assignments.
