Georgina Cole Library is a part of the city of Carlsbad, Calif. The library features a collection of more than 164,000 items, including books, magazines, newspapers and audiobooks. It also includes CDs, MP3s, DVDs and cassettes. The library has one of the largest genealogy collections in Southern California that focus on the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries in the United States. Georgina Cole Library also offers Wi-Fi Internet access. It maintains a book store that offers greeting cards, puzzles, sheet music, vintage records, videos and tapes. The library conducts computer classes and provides programs for children. Georgina Cole Library additionally operates a book club and organizes summer concerts and poetry reading workshops.
