Formed in Folsom, Calif. in 1989, Gekkeikan Sake (USA) Inc. is the company's first brewing facility in North America and is the sixth brewery to bear the Gekkeikan name. It provides U.S. products, such as Traditional Sake, Traditional Light Sake, Draft Sake, Haiku Premium Select Sake, Kobai Plum and others. The company also imports some products that include Deluxe Premium Sake, Cap Ace Sake, Plum Gekkeikan and ZIPANG 250 ml. Gekkeikan Sake (USA) Inc. provides tasting room facility. Its tasting room offers complimentary tasting of "Kobai", its latest plum wine, as well as a variety of its locally produced sakes.
