Encinal School

Located in Atherton, Calif., Encinal Elementary School serves students in kindergarten and grades three through five. The school offers classes in English, science, math, language arts and social studies. Its curriculum includes vocal and instrumental music, band, Spanish, art, physical education and computers. Encinal Elementary School employs a psychologist, counselor, nurse, librarian and resource teacher, as well as art and reading specialists and subject teachers. The school s library stocks a variety of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, fairy tales, and fiction and nonfiction books. Its parent-teacher organization sponsors several recreational activities and counseling sessions for parents, teachers and students.
