History

Our founder, Liz Johnson, was in college obtaining her Theatrical Scenic Design degree (with an additional emphasis in Stage Management), when she realized these skills can transfer to interior design, as well. Over the years, she has moved from picking out paint colors in rental homes to creating spaces that range from soothing and peaceful, to vibrant and funky. The event planning stemmed from Liz's stage management background which required strong organizational and project management skills. She has created highly successful networking and educational events from Seattle to Los Angeles which, in turn, increased sponsorship for the organization. Additionally, she has helmed non-profit fundraising events around Los Angeles.

For the last 18 years, our founder, Liz Johnson, has created beautiful spaces for clients, both at home and in the workplace. Whether you need curtains hung, are decorating a new office, or are looking to completely refurnish your home, we can handle projects large and small. We also have a team of people to assist with setting up holiday decor for your home or office: what better way to save time and stress at the holidays than to hire someone to do the work for you! ElJay also specializes in event planning, with nine years of corporate and non-profit event planning experience including large networking and fundraising functions, golf tournaments, and educational events.
