Our Church History - Echoes From Calvary had its beginning in the early 1930's, serving the greater Salinas area for over seventy years. Construction on the Post Street location began in 1980 with a sanctuary that seated approximately 200, several classrooms and a kitchen. The present auditorium with a seating capacity of 550 was dedicated April 7, 2002. Construction was lead by Pastor Dale McIntire, along with the men and women of this congregation. Much love, care and sacrifice went into the construction of this facility, resulting in a beautiful landmark with no indebtedness. Our Future - This is an exciting time for Echoes From Calvary. We want to serve as a family church ministering to families of all nationalities and backgrounds. The first time you attend Echoes From Calvary you are a visitor, the second time you are family. We are a teaching and training center, sharing God's word with all ages. Wednesday evening is designated family night with classes for every age group. We are a Missions Outreach Center, as we share of our means to send the Gospel around the world. Our vision reaches beyond the Monterey Bay area to those in need of Jesus.
