Eastern L A Regional Center for the Developmentall

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center, also known as ELARC, is a nonprofit agency that offers various support services for individuals and families with developmental disabilities. It administers the Family Cost Participation Program, also known as FCCP, which includes a range of camping and day and respite care services. The agency has an early intervention unit that provides educational resources and support for mental, physical and emotional development of infants and toddlers with special needs. Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center also offers various transportation, medical, dental, social and recreational services. Additionally, it maintains a family resource center that specializes in support, information, education, resources and training for individuals with disabilities. Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center maintains its district office in Whittier, Calif.
