I def recommend checking this out especially if you're visiting the Bay Area or live in the Bay Area grab a blanket and have a picnic in the area. The ferry building is about 5-10 min walk away,...

Must-go, iconic SF photo-op spot. Pass by on a run, nice stroll, bike ride, or when driving on the Embarcadero. And you can always just hang out on the benches, or cement pillars, or grass.
