Some very talented reptile people are still working Cal Zoo 10 to 15 years later. These people are; Mike Barnes, Damon Gasporra and Rafael Montalvo. The driving force behind Cal Zoo Since the mid '80's has been Tyrone Dillon. Tyrone has directed Cal Zoo ever since Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc, was created in an adjacent building. If it weren't for the financial support of Cal Zoo the first 2 years, Zoo Med would not have survived.
