The Conejo Valley YMCA offers a variety of programs for people of all ages. It organizes day camps and conducts sports, child care, and health and fitness programs. Located in Thousands Oak, Calif., the organization s facility features a more than 25-yard heated pool, indoor water pool, activity room and fitness center. The Conejo Valley YMCA s fitness center has strength training and cardiovascular equipment and free weights. The organization also maintains a multisport court and hiking and biking trail. Its day camps provide field trips, arts and crafts, group games, dramatic plays and other water-related activities. The organization s health and fitness programs include yoga, aerobic, cycling and martial arts classes. The Conejo Valley YMCA additionally offers its facilities for parties, events and meetings. It is a part of the Southeast Ventura County YMCA, which operates various preschool child care centers and summer camps.
