Centennial High School

Centennial High School, located in Compton, Calif., enrolls more than 1,400 students and offers classes from grades nine through 12. Its aim is to ensure that its graduates are accepted into various colleges in the United States. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies, and science. The school offers offer a comprehensive English language development program designed to address the needs of students studying English as a second language. Students are involved in the life of their school, participating in student government, academic competitions, community service and a variety of student-interest organizations. It offers many team and individual sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, track and tennis. Centennial High School is a part of the Compton Unified School District.
