Cafe Umami Uptown builds on its foodie following with the addition of a second location in Oakland's booming Uptown district. The menu offers meals composed of vibrant, fresh, flavorful whole foods for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner. Our Korean bibimbop-inspired bowls and brown rice jook are nutritionally complete, composed of a grain bed, nutritious sauces, and nutrient-dense toppings--providing fiber, protein, minerals, essential vitamins, high quality fatty acids, and beneficial bacteria. Fresh ingredients are sourced for house-made sausage, sauces, ferments, pickles, and more. The drink menu features refreshing Yuzu Spritzer and savory Kraut Spritzer, teas, spicy hot chocolate, and Highwire Coffee. NOTE: This location no longer accepts cash.
