Cafe de Casa - Catering

Towering deli sandwiches, gigantic salads, entr e specialties as well as decadent fresh-baked breads and award-winning desserts have been signature items of the family-owned Max's Restaurants since 1978. The business started with the opening of Max's Son in Daly City, Calif. Dennis Berkowitz, owner of Max's, named the restaurant in honor of his father. Max's sang a new tune in 1982 with the opening of Max's Opera Cafe in San Francisco, where servers singing opera and show tunes entertained customers. Max's Diner, opening in 1985, was styled to reflect the 1950s and 1960s counterculture. Max's Restaurants also provides catering of appetizer platters, desserts, entrees, hors d oeuvre, cocktail food, salads and sandwich platters.
