Litter Removal and Education: Our primary focus is litter abatement and we have two field crew workers who drive regularly scheduled routes throughout the City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County and remove visible litter and illegally dumped items. Hauling Services: Clean Tahoe offers affordable hauling services to assist those in the community who need to have furniture or appliances transported to the Transfer Station. Volunteer Programs: We engage the community in volunteer cleanup events and in keeping neighborhoods clean and litter-free. Community Cleanup Day ($5 Dump Day): In partnership with South Tahoe Refuse, Clean Tahoe hosts an annual event where residents can bring unwanted items to the Transfer Station at greatly reduced rates. The event is held the first Saturday in June.
