Baywood Court is a nonprofit, multiservice retirement community owned and operated by Eden Hospital Health Services Corporation. Founded in 1990, the community offers a comprehensive package of services and housing amenities for senior citizens. It provides assisted living, independent living and skilled nursing facilities. Baywood Court s assisted living package includes assistance with bathing, medications and dressing. The community also features a spa, computer laboratory, lap pool, library, art gallery, woodworking shop, convenience store and resident gardens. Its computer laboratory offers a variety of game options. The community s library features a special collection of large-print books for visually impaired people. Baywood Court also conducts workshops on health and safety and is located in Castro Valley, Calif.
