Barton Memorial Hospital, serving the community's healthcare needs for over 50 years, is an acute care hospital located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Since the inception of the hospital in 1963, Barton Memorial Hospital has been fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the State of California. The hospital, which is just one component of the Barton Health, consists of 24-hour emergency care services, 63 patient beds, a Skilled Nursing Facility with 48 resident beds and many departments to serve the healthcare needs of our patients, residents, employees, visitors, volunteers and the community.
