Barr Lumber is a full service lumber store with five locations in California and an online store with more than 70,000 for purchase. The company operates lumberyards and retail stores in Southern California, as well as a door shop in Apple Valley, Calif., and a truss facility in San Bernardino, Calif. Products include lumber, saws and building materials from manufacturers and brands such as Stanley, DeWalt and Gillmour. The company is part of the Do it Best Corporation, which serves more than 4,100 member-retailers in the United States and in nearly 50 countries, and is one of the only U.S.-based full-line, full-service, member-owned distributors of lumber, hardware and building materials products in the home improvement industry. Barr Lumber is not associated with the Barr Lumber Company in El Centro, Calif., which is owned by Dixieline Lumber Company.
