A Southern California native, Dr. Robertson is the daughter of a physician and has been around medicine since a very early age. This exposure sparked her interest and led her to volunteer at a breast cancer center during high school and perform clinical research in transplant cardiology while in college. Her love for medicine only grew stronger, and eventually she chose the field of endocrinology. As an endocrinologist, Dr. Robertson has the knowledge and experience to treat a variety of conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary diseases, adrenal conditions, and much more. She enjoys this field as it exposes her to complex pathophysiology, a myriad of clinical conditions, and the endless opportunities for community outreach and research. Most importantly, she finds that being an endocrinologist allows her the ability to provide continuous care to her patients and their families. Dr. Robertson always places the focus on the patient, her number one priority. Her goal is to provide comprehensive care and make sure her patients get all their questions answered. As she says it best, “I want each and every patient to walk out of the exam room with a solid plan, feeling encouraged and motivated about taking charge of their health. I strongly believe in a team approach and work closely with my patients every step of the way.” She attended medical school at University of California, San Diego and went on to complete her residency at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she also served as an Internal Medicine Chief Resident. Immediately following her residency, she completed her first year of her Endocrinology fellowship at UCLA and transferred to University of California, Irvine to complete her second year. Married to a physician, Dr. Robertson has two young children and enjoys the beach, yoga, traveling, and staying active during her time outside of the office.

Joshua R. Resa, MD

A “kid at heart” and a son of a pediatrician, Dr. Resa witnessed firsthand the profound satisfaction his father derived from his profession. Inspired by his dad, he knew pediatrics was a career well-suited for him. His journey into medicine is rooted in this lifelong appreciation for healing and the joy of caring for children. Dr. Resa understands the challenge of conflicting health information today and strives to build a trusted partnership with parents, grounded in science. While respecting parents as their children’s advocates, his recommendations – from well visit guidance to sick visit treatment plans – are based on the most current, evidence-based criteria, rather than fleeting media trends. This dedication to medical accuracy is why he is a strong proponent of preventive measures like immunizations, which are a proven, essential element to a child’s health and well-being. His greatest reward is knowing he can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. He considers the long-term journey with a family the true joy of pediatrics. Dr. Resa views it as a privilege to be a trusted partner, not only ensuring his patients are healthy, but also celebrating their accomplishments and successes, from first steps to high school graduations. A Central California native, Dr. Resa’s academic journey took him to some of the nation’s top institutions. He earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, followed by his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and he completed his pediatrics residency at Brown University. When away from the office, Dr. Resa enjoys playing bridge and golf, and he is dedicated to raising his own child to be a die-hard Dodgers fan.
