Alameda County Sheriff Training

Located in Dublin, Calif., the Alameda County Sheriff's Office Regional Training Center serves as a comprehensive center for police training. It offers training classes in tactical skills, firearms, physical fitness and academic subjects. The center is operated by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, which prevents crime, protects residents lives and their property and suppresses criminal activities. The sheriff s office is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), American Correctional Association (ACA), National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and California Medical Association (CMA). The Alameda County Sheriff's Office also maintains detention and communication centers. It offers several support services, including gun registration, animal control, and traffic and parking law enforcement.
