Based in Fort Smith, Ark., Methodist Village & Nursing Home has been operational for more than 40 years and provides housing, retirement and long-term care services to older adults in the Arkansas River Valley. It has more than 130 employees and over 200 volunteers. Its retirement facility is a member of the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce and offers a variety of living options. The organization s retirement living facility includes a variety of one- and two-bedroom and studio apartments and semi-private rooms. Methodist Nursing Home provides various facilities, such as meals, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, various utilities, including cable television and rehabilitation and occupational therapies. Additionally, it maintains and manages charitable accounts to help residents with daily expenses, such as clothing, hair care and other eessentials.
