I was born in Guatemala City from German immigrants and then immigrated to the United States. I directed the cardiac catheterization and interventional laboratories and subsequently the Department of Cardiology at Sparks Regional Medical Center. For 19 years I have taught as an assistant professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I have dedicated my career to the practice of outpatient non-invasive cardiology.
