Southgate Academy

Southgate Academy Charter School is located in Tucson, Ariz. It provides academic classes to more than 550 students annually in grades kindergarten through 10. The district s school offers various educational programs in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education, computer technology and special education. The school has a library media center that provides online reference materials, dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias, books and research materials to students. The school has a parent-teacher organization that provides programs, activities, information and resources to strengthen relationships between school staff, students and community. Southgate Academy additionally provides special education services for students with disabilities.
