Not being from the area, it was very informative. Didn't take long to see but everything was dramatic. We would go back.

Scottsdale Historical Museum displays, preserves and interprets the prehistory, history and cultural heritage of Scottsdale in Arizona through research, exhibits and educational programming. The museum offers various kinds of memberships for individuals, families, senior citizens and patrons. It organizes a variety of events at its facility, such as appreciation lunches and musical nights. Scottsdale Historical Museum has a gift shop that offers a wide selection of children s books, including "The Goat in the Rug," "Cactus Caf ," "Alejandro s Gift," " Scottsdale Historical Coloring Book" and "This House is made of Mud." The museum has several volunteers who greet visitors, orient them to the museum and answer their questions.
