Founded in 1947, Phoenix Symphony is a group of more than 75 musicians who perform various concerts. It is a professional orchestra that serves over 300,000 people every year with nearly 270 concerts and presentations. The group organizes classical and pop concerts. It also offers music for youths through a variety of education, community and youth-engagement programs. Phoenix Symphony includes Symphony Hall, Mesa Arts Center, Orpheum Theatre, Scottsdale Center for the Arts and the Dodge Theater that provide seating arrangements for patrons with wheelchair requirements. It performs for more than 50,000 students and children. Phoenix Symphony is located in Phoenix.
