Jeffrey Bauer, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in orthopedic spine surgery, with a particular focus on trauma and critical care. He offers a range of specialized treatments, from minimally invasive procedures such as microdiscectomy, laminotomy and laminectomy, to more complex surgeries including cervical and lumbar fusion. His surgical expertise also includes cervical disc replacements, performed when appropriate to address nerve impingement and spinal instability. Jeffrey takes a collaborative approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of patient education in achieving the best possible outcomes. He ensures patients gain a clear understanding of their spinal conditions and actively involves them in developing personalized treatment plans. His practice prioritizes open communication and shared decision-making to support successful surgical results and recovery. Originally from Higley, Arizona, Jeffrey brings unique experience as an Army veteran who trained combat medics with a focus on tactical field care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys woodworking and contributes to academia by regularly lecturing at a local physician assistant program and precepting physician assistant students, enriching his practice with a well-rounded perspective.
