Kingman Police Department

The Kingman Police Department, Kingman, Ariz., maintains a high quality of life for its residents and visitors, through an active partnership with the community, by being proactive in reducing crime, apprehending criminal offenders, and aggressively addressing all public safety concerns. The police department's goals include develop partnerships within the community to assist in identifying concerns, which threaten the quality of life in Kingman; develop action plans to address problems identified by using timely and accurate intelligence, effective tactics, rapid deployment of personnel and resources, and effective assessment of the response to insure the problems are solved. The police department's overall goal is to reduce crime and develop and promote long-term partnerships with a wide range of community members in Kingman that fosters working relationships based on mutual trust and respect. The department is doing this through the City of Kingman Neighborhood Services. Officers are assigned to the administration department of the Kingman Police Department, with responsibilities that include investigating complaints of public nuisances, zoning violations, dangerous and abandoned duildings and following up those complaints till compliance.
