The Prescott YMCA, founded in 1914, is a nonprofit organization located in Prescott, Ariz. The organization s facilities include an aerobics studio, cycling room, gymnasium, activity pool, and fitness and wellness centers. It provides fitness and exercise programs and organizes beginner and group strength training sessions. The Prescott YMCA s fitness classes provide relief from chronic conditions, such as joint pain, high-blood pressure, headaches and emotional stress. The organization s aquatic center offers water aerobics and private, group and lap swimming lessons. Its Adventure Program organizes seasonal camps that provide instruction in rock climbing, yoga, kayaking and scuba diving. The Prescott YMCA also offers preschool and after-school child care programs.
